You will strengthen your English language skills and develop subject specific knowledge for your chosen field of study.

During the Foundation Diploma you will study some courses that are core for your subject area you wish to progress to. The list below shows the routes of study for the Business Diploma.

The Pre-Master’s Programme (PMP) is designed for students wanting to upgrade their English language level ahead of a postgraduate degree programme. It also prepares students with the necessary academic skills for a successful postgraduate study in English.

If you want to broaden your understanding of the business world, the Pre-Masters in Business is the ideal start to a Master’s degree in the field of Business.

Upon successful completion of the PM, students will progress to one of many available master’s degrees at leading universities across the UK, reducing the stress of applying to each university separately, giving you the confidence to get on with your studies.

What student support does OIPC offer?

OIPC students have full access to Greenwich student support.

Greenwich’s online Academic Skills Centre can help you improve your essay writing, research skills, presentation and exam techniques and any additional study skills you may need. You’ll also have access to one-to-one tutorials with academic skills tutors and workshop sessions with subject librarians. All workshops are free and run throughout term time.

Greenwich’s professional counsellors are on hand, should you need them, at any time during your studies. We support students with a range of issues, such as anxiety, low mood, stress and relationship problems. You can also get confidential advice and support from our Listening Ears, a network of university staff committed to student wellbeing.

Each campus has at least one university chaplain to help students settle in and provide information on local places of worship. Chaplains also provide confidential pastoral care to those in distress or need, whether or not they have a faith of their own.

The university provides information and advice on financial issues, including budgeting and money management, financial hardship and debt management, and funds and bursaries.

You can book to see a student finance adviser at one of the Student Centres. Your adviser can check you’re receiving your full entitlement to financial assistance and help you budget and plan ahead.

Greenwich’s aim is to help you secure your ideal role once you have graduated. We’ll help you find internships and placements to build vital workplace skills. We also have a Careers Clinic during term time for CV checks, interview tips and individual careers advice.

Supporting students to success

Learn more about what our students have to say when studying across our education network.

I have a lot of international friends here at BUIC, and I’ve learnt so much from them. There is always a lot to do together both on and off-campus.

Sagar Nepal, Bangor University International College (BUIC)

I would recommend UGIC because it is based on the main University of Greenwich campus, a cosmopolitan university. At UGIC, there are students from all around the world, and I've made a lot of friends from exciting places."

Gozel Turkmenistan, University of Greenwich International College (UGIC)

I think one of the main reasons the IIM (pre-masters) has been so helpful is because the staff are so supportive and are always able to help me. Whether it is understanding a module or finding out how to sort accommodation, they will help you with everything. I’ve enjoyed studying at Bangor, the people are friendly, and the environment is also really peaceful and safe. It’s given me the best opportunity to succeed in my studies here in the UK.
