Our college students will be taught at our school in London Greenwich and will have full access to all resources offered by Greenwich University. This includes the Student’s Union, Counselling Centre, Student Advice Service, and student clubs. Students will also have access to the extensive library services on Stockwell Street, part of the University of Greenwich.

The support team is always available to help you wherever you are on your learning journey. From practical advice to more intensive support – to make your time at the London Centre run as smoothly as possible.

Our bespoke social programmes are designed to provide students with the opportunity to socialise and immerse themselves in the local culture — sharing truly unforgettable experiences whilst being able to put their new English skills to the test in fun and natural environments.

Greenwich’s online Academic Skills Centre can help you improve your essay writing, research skills, presentation and exam techniques and any additional study skills you may need. You’ll also have access to one-to-one tutorials with academic skills tutors and workshop sessions with subject librarians. All workshops are free and run throughout term time.

Greenwich’s professional counsellors are on hand, should you need them, at any time during your studies. We support students with a range of issues, such as anxiety, low mood, stress and relationship problems. You can also get confidential advice and support from our Listening Ears, a network of university staff committed to student wellbeing.

Each campus has at least one university chaplain to help students settle in and provide information on local places of worship. Chaplains also provide confidential pastoral care to those in distress or need, whether or not they have a faith of their own.

The university provides information and advice on financial issues, including budgeting and money management, financial hardship and debt management, and funds and bursaries.

You can book to see a student finance adviser at one of the Student Centres. Your adviser can check you’re receiving your full entitlement to financial assistance and help you budget and plan ahead.

Greenwich’s aim is to help you secure your ideal role once you have graduated. We’ll help you find internships and placements to build vital workplace skills. We also have a Careers Clinic during term time for CV checks, interview tips and individual careers advice.

Supporting students to success

As DMUIC is situated in England’s most vibrant and multicultural city, I had the opportunity to make friends from different countries. The most amazing thing was that the DMUIC staff including all teachers and the office persons were very motivational and welcoming. They provide the best routes for study to every individual.”

Syed Asim Hussain Pakistan, De Montfort University International College (DMUIC)

I’ve enjoyed studying at DMUIC, the tutors are excellent and have helped me settle into life as a university student. They are also really supportive and have helped myself and other students with other issues outside of the classroom such as accommodation.

Nafisa Bangladesh, De Montfort University International College (DMUIC)

I have successfully progressed onto my degree course at the University of Bradford because of UBIC's reliable policies and teaching programme. To the new students, those who just started their foundation at Bradford International College, I must say you are going to pass the class, the only thing required is your attention and leave the rest on UBIC's staff because they are the one that are going to lead you to a brilliant future as it is a pathway to success.

Shoaib Khan Pakistan, University of Bradford International College (UBIC)

I have a lot of international friends here at BUIC, and I’ve learnt so much from them. There is always a lot to do together both on and off-campus.

Sagar Nepal, Bangor University International College (BUIC)

I would recommend UGIC because it is based on the main University of Greenwich campus, a cosmopolitan university. At UGIC, there are students from all around the world, and I've made a lot of friends from exciting places."

Gozel Turkmenistan, University of Greenwich International College (UGIC)

I think one of the main reasons the IIM (pre-masters) has been so helpful is because the staff are so supportive and are always able to help me. Whether it is understanding a module or finding out how to sort accommodation, they will help you with everything. I’ve enjoyed studying at Bangor, the people are friendly, and the environment is also really peaceful and safe. It’s given me the best opportunity to succeed in my studies here in the UK.
