This programme will equip you with a solid understanding of the applied computational tools in civil engineering, which can be applied to many real-life engineering problems. After graduating, you will have the skills and knowledge to operate in an increasingly digital world, to design, construct and manage complex infrastructures tackling the 21st Century challenges.

The programme is ideal for those with a civil engineering degree/background, who are interested in pursuing a career in digital civil engineering.

The programme is delivered jointly by the Department of Civil and Structural Engineering and the Department of Computer Science, where an emphasis is placed on providing a supportive environment that will equip students with the knowledge and learning skills to tackle future challenges in industry.

This degree is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM: The Institution of Civil Engineers, The Institution of Structural Engineers, The Institution of Highway Engineers and The Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation) as meeting the requirements for Further Learning for a Chartered Engineer (CEng) for candidates who have already acquired an Accredited CEng (Partial) BEng(Hons) or an Accredited IEng (Full) BEng/BSc (Hons) undergraduate first degree.
