The International Foundation Programme in Nursing is designed to support students in developing the academic knowledge, practical skills, and English literacy required to succeed in a nursing degree at the University of Dundee.
Upon successful completion of the foundation programme, you will continue directly onto Year 1 of your nursing course, with a total of three additional years of study at the University of Dundee to complete your degree.
This pathway equips students with:
✔ Essential nursing knowledge and patient care skills
✔ Medical ethics and healthcare technology training
✔ Hands-on experience in clinical settings
Upon successful completion, students can progress to undergraduate degrees such as:
- Adult Nursing BSc (Hons) – Focused on providing care across various healthcare settings
- Mental Health Nursing BSc (Hons) – Specialising in mental health support and psychiatric care
