Our International Year One – Business enables you to understand a range of areas. You will develop their knowledge in business, economics, statistics and data analysis which opens up a variety of career opportunities.
The International Year One (IY1) is the first year of a 3-year International Incorporated Bachelor’s (IIB).
Your first year is taught at the University of Kent International College (UK IC). Once you successfully complete this year, you will continue studying the remaining stages of your degree at the University of Kent.
During the three terms encapsulating the IY1, you’ll gain additional skills in your chosen study route and the necessary English language skills to succeed during your studies.

As business data becomes more complex and sophisticated, higher-level mathematical knowledge is required to better understand operational problems and make informed decisions. We’ll develop and consolidate your knowledge and skills in mathematics, ensuring you understand core mathematical concepts and their application to understanding business problems analytically.
