You learn a combination of business and software technology; together these give you the ability and confidence to operate comfortably in the business world. The first and second year are comprised of compulsory modules to give you a solid grounding in both computing and business. In your final year, you can choose from a range of optional modules in areas that you want to explore in more depth or that will help with your chosen career path.

The IFY will prepare you for the first year of your undergraduate degree. It’s made up of several core and subject-specific modules that will give you a greater understanding of your chosen subject area. The skills you develop through this programme will help you in your chosen degree, in your future career, and in all aspects of life.

2024/25: All international students will receive 16% of University of Kent tuition fees per year, for students moving into a degree from all our pathway routes.
