Degree Overview

In Politics and International Relations (P&IR), current optional modules cover Russian, Irish and Middle Eastern politics, nations and nationalism, political theories, human rights, and humanitarian intervention. Modules covering illegal drugs, gender and sexuality, environmental sustainability, and surveillance are also currently available. In the third year, students must choose a Geography module from a specified list that allows them to emphasise either human or physical geography and at the same time develop their research skills.

In level 4 students can choose from the full range of modules available in both P&IR and Geography and, further emphasising the flexibility of the degree, whilst a dissertation is compulsory, students can elect to take it in either of your two subjects.
