Degree Overview

The first two years of study will introduce concepts like evolution, biological organisation, molecular mechanisms and processes. Students will develop practical laboratory and data analysis skills, and learn to design and run experiments. This will prepare you for carrying out projects later in your course.
At Dundee, the course curriculum is shaped by the work of our world-leading researchers to make sure you’re learning the latest advances, as well as gaining an understanding of the fundamentals of the field. Students will pick modules that interest you and may also be able to transfer to one of our other life sciences courses if you choose the relevant modules
