We live in a world where business operations are becoming increasingly global in scale. National boundaries now matter very little to decisions about where goods are made and services provided. In this course you will learn what this means for today’s business world.
The course has economics at its core, covering micro and macroeconomics. However, it is much broader than a standalone economics degree. It analyses the major external factors affecting global business, globalisation, and applied policy.
The BSc (Hons) option is for you if you want to study more business specific subjects. In the first two years, you focus on business, management, economics and finance related core modules.
You’ll also study one Spanish module per semester in each year, either as a beginner or at intensive level if you have previously studied the language at Higher/A-Level.
Dundee offers two International Business courses: a BSc and an MA. The main differences between these are at Levels 1 and 2.

A range of business-related careers will be open to you, in marketing, finance, administration, statistics, sales, logistics, and human resources. The IS1 is the first year of a four year International Incorporated Bachelors. And its designed to strengthen your English language abilities and introduce core concepts and knowledge required at university study level. Once you have successfully completed your studies you will continue the remaining stages of your degree directly with the University of your choice.
