The course has unparalleled links with the UK and global intimate apparel industry, helping and providing you with incredible opportunities to work with national and international companies on a wide variety of live projects, work placements, competitions, and awards.
With several specialisms: lingerie, athleisure, swimwear, loungewear, nightwear, corsetry, or menswear you will be introduced to a range of topics that will develop specialist skills. These include skills in conceptual design and application, pattern cutting, grading, fit methodologies, technical excellence and manufacturing, and presentation formats to equip you for industry roles in the UK and worldwide. In the final year, you will have the opportunity to choose to specialise in either an aesthetic or a technical route.
The industry-led curriculum trains you to innovate and adapt to changes within this dynamic sector. You will develop skills in athleisure products – now in high demand following the global shift to remote working which has led to a growth in comfort-inspired, fashion-driven work attire.

The International Year Zero is the first year of the four year undergraduate course. IYZ is designed to help you gain extra skills in your subject area, as well as English Language, before you continue to year one of your chosen University undergraduate degree course.
Following successful completion of the IYZ, you will continue onto Year One of your degree directly with the University of your choice.
