This BPS-accredited degree combines core psychology with an in-depth focus on neuropsychology, the study of how the brain shapes human behaviour, emotion, and cognition. You will explore brain structure, function, and what happens when neurological damage or mental health conditions occur. The programme offers hands-on experience in specialist facilities, including EEG, EMG, fMRI, motion capture, and a brain anatomy lab, with opportunities to handle a real human brain. Guided by internationally recognised experts, you will also have the chance to engage in cutting-edge research, preparing you for a wide range of professional pathways, including further training towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist.

The IY1 course provides an intensive combination of first year University subject modules with English language skills.
