This British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited degree equips you with the clinical and health psychology skills needed to understand and address psychological challenges across the lifespan. Guided by internationally recognised researchers, you’ll explore mental health disorders, behavioural issues, counselling approaches, and psychological interventions such as mindfulness. The diverse curriculum allows you to choose from modules covering disorders of literacy, addiction, ageing, and brain health, and conduct meaningful dissertation research. Successful completion grants eligibility for Graduate Membership of the BPS, a vital step towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist.

The International Year One is the perfect pathway if you want a undergraduate degree from a UK, EU or US University but do not meet the requirements for direct entry.

The IY1 course provides an intensive combination of first year University subject modules with English language skills.

Following successful completion of the IY1 you will continue onto your second year degree study directly with the University of your choice.
