The program provides a basic foundation of business concepts and practices, as well as specialized courses in advertising, public relations, retailing, sales, digital marketing, data analytics, branding, new product development, and marketing research. Career opportunities can be found within social media marketing, data analytics, sales and sales management, marketing research, product/brand management, retail management, advertising, merchandising, public relations, and non-profit agencies.
Our full-time student services manager will also be on campus to provide International Year One students with ongoing assistance and guidance. This support covers academic issues as well as practical, social and emotional needs arising from the transition 30 to studying in the U.S.
Small class sizes of no more than 18 students for supporting (non-credit) courses
The International Year One is the perfect pathway if you want a undergraduate degree from a UK, EU or US University but do not meet the requirements for direct entry.
The IY1 course provides an intensive combination of first year University subject modules with English language skills.
Following successful completion of the IY1 you will continue onto your second year degree study directly with the University of your choice.
