Degree Overview

The MA degree means students study Politics alongside other subjects from History to Geography, languages to Psychology with an emphasis on modules with a European orientation. At Levels 3 and 4 students will be able to specialise with the European Union Politics and Simulation module allows students to model and simulates the operation of EU institutions using realistic scenarios.

Students will also study one French module per semester each year, either as a beginner or at an intensive level if they have previously studied the language at Higher/A-Level.
