Mark Love
PRINCIPAL OXFORD SIXTH FORM COLLEGE

Mark was appointed Principal of the then Oxford Tutorial College in November 2017. During his tenure, Mark has been successful in transforming the College into an independent, non-selective boarding sixth from college with the staff and structures appropriate to a college where 95% of students are studying a full-time programme for one, two or three years. The changes reached their most public expression on 1st January 2019 when the College changed its name to become Oxford Sixth Form College.
With nearly thirty years’ experience of working in education with fifteen years of that experience being as a college principal, Mark’s previous roles in education have included those of governor, vice principal, governor, senior tutor and teacher. Prior to starting his career in education, Mark worked in the construction and brewing industries, including some time in the U.S.A.
Married with two daughters who are sitting A Levels and GCSEs respectively in the summer of 2019, Mark is passionate about ensuring that young people are guided to the right choice of post-16 study programme that matches their aptitude and interests and maximises their chances of success at university and beyond.
The Oxford International value of integrity resonates strongly with Mark who both builds relationships and encourages students to build relationships founded upon, trust, honesty and respect and he is very much a principal who believes that a smile goes a very long way.
