IT HAS BEEN A PLEASURE TO BE A PART OF THE GROWTH OF OXFORD INTERNATIONAL. THE FACT THAT WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND ENRICH SO MANY YOUNG PEOPLE’S LIVES AROUND THE WORLD MAKES ALL THE HARD WORK WE HAVE PUT INTO OXFORD ALL THE MORE WORTHWHILE.
Chris has been the Chairman of Oxford International since 2014. Chris has helped drive the growth of Oxford International by leading on key acquisitions such as d’Overbroeck’s School and its subsequent growth development programme. Chris has also been integrally involved in the development of the senior management team across the group. Chris chairs the Board of Governors for d’Overbroeck’s and Oxford Sixth Form College.
Chris is an experienced senior board director, having held a number of non-executive and executive Chair roles within private equity backed businesses in the healthcare and education sectors over the last 20 years. He has worked closely with management teams in high growth businesses, helping to deliver both organic and acquisitive growth leading to successful exits amounting to c£3bn in enterprise value. Up until 2017, Chris was Chairman of the Regard Group, the UK’s third largest supported living and residential care provider. He was also a founder and director of Avanta Enterprise, a return to work and apprenticeship provider in the UK. Chris is currently on the boards of the Kisimul Group, ParkingEye and Oracle Care.
Previously, Chris was also an investment banking partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers having been voted Rainmaker of the Year by the Sunday Times on a number of occasions.
Chris lives outside London with his wife and 2 teenage sons. Apart from being a self-proclaimed petrol head, Chris also loves all things Tesla and is a huge fan of the engineering genius of Elon Musk. Chris is a physics graduate from the University of Southampton and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
